great walks of nz

this is my thing, which I had about an hour to do. I enjoyed this because researching things is fun. I did this because my teacher told me to. i do not like walking but i like nature, and i find keas funny.

 

Dixon house

At Dixon's house, I met a bunch of old people. I probably haven't told you, but it is an old folk home. If you do not know what an old folks home is, it is people that have retired who go to spend the rest of their lives, which for some old folks, is not actually that long. The first person I met was an old man, who could barely hear and had slurred words that I could barely hear. He was a miner. The next person I talked to was an old woman who was still quite sharp. She was a teacher and had taught at some Blacktown schools. A short while after starting to talk to her, I went to get a drink, then I went back to her and continued the conversation. When we had to leave I was kind of sad because I liked being with the old folks. I feel kind of sorry for people so old they have compromised almost everything, because it is not nice for people to have those problems, also, if I live that long, I will also get those problems.

for this project, I made something, made a video, and edited the video. it took around about 2/3 hours( or somewhere inbetween)

this is an activity that I did involving potential and kinetic energy, the differences, and the similarities.
 

Just saying

 earlier this year there was a nitrogen fertilizer explosion.

the thing that detonated the ammonia nitrate was the fire that was going for some seconds. ammonia nitrate is explosive in the right condition. the fire crew that came couldn't put out the fire before the detonation or the fire would have been less costly and fewer casualties would have happened. other things in the nitrogen-based fertilizer was nitric acid, hydroxylammonium nitrate, potassium nitrate, and sodium nitrate. the most explosive thing was the ammonium nitrate with the yellow on the fire diamond as a 3.

capter the golden eagle

 

this is a game I have made, I hope you try it and like.

capture the golden eagle

playtime: until one team wins

number of players:

• a standard-bearer for each legion
• one ref
• the same amount of legionaries for each legion and there are at least two legions
• a praeter for each legion

Equipment:

• one whistle ( for the ref)
• a golden eagle for each team
• something to mark out the sides for each team

rules:

• each praeter is elected by legion the person elected is in
• each standard-bearer is chosen by the praeter in their team
• when someone gets tagged, the person tagged drops whatever is in the person's hands(if they are holding a component of the game) and they will stand where they are for 120 seconds then the person will go to the side they are one and will be able to go back (Mabey to try whatever they were doing earlier) and if you are a standard-bearer  you drop the golden eagle and cannot pick it up except from the ground and cannot tag
• the praeter and legionaries get tagged on their enemies side and standard-bearers get tagged on their side
• standard-bearers cannot go to the enemy's side( because if the eagle goes to its owner's enemy's side the game is won by the side it is taken to.) 
•  if someone disobeys their praeter, the person that disobeys the praeter will get taken out of the game, unless of course, the order is unreasonable.

how to play:

1. get the people to play
2. get the items to play
3. set up the play area as shown below
   
   
   
4. split into legions
5. each legion elects their praeter
6. each preater chooses their legions standard-bearer (the standard-bearer chosen has to be from the same legion as the praeter choosing it.)
7. the praeters discuss the strat with the legion they are in
8.  each legion gathers on their side with the standard-bearer
9. the ref starts the game by saying "Senates Popolusque Romanus!"
10. each legion try to act out their strat and win
11. the game ends when one side has both golden eagles in it
12. the winner and losing praeter shake hands and the standard-bearers shake hands

into the labrynth part 2

 methy, ethy, and buty drew their swords and while propy loaded his bow and shot a giant spider( after which reloading of course.). methy ethy and buty ( still remember to pronounce buty like b-you-ty or beauty.) hacked through the spiders but more kept coming so propy said "retreat, if we hack them apart in a small hallway, we will not get overwhelmed." so they ran awhile before stopping, out of breath were they fell down and looked at the other tunnel they had seen earlier, so with no choice, so they headed up the passage.  they then came to another crossway, propy said "because I killed the first spider so I get to choose the passage, and besides, last time they choose we ended up here, stuck. So I choose forward ." so as they continued forwards they came to a large, triangular room with a weird plant in the center and three passages leading in...

just saying

 there was a fire in Ohau last week.

it started in a tussock paddock, the average tussock there was 6foot high and very flammable and if anyone knows what fire is comment below. the only people involved where the firemen(putting out the flames.) the town/village people(if you don't know why, I say, for goodness sake, the town/village people live there) and the media(which is just about everyone in the world).

 Japan is one of the techiest countries in the world. it has weird things like hello kitty engraved melons, square melons, capsule hotels, and more

Japan joined world war two (or ww2) by bombing pearl harbor, it was a success but it made USA join ww2. the imperial capital was bombed by USA so japan sent to take midway wich failed. near the end of ww2, two nuclear bombs were set off in Japan.

Japan has 126,476,461 people, is the eleventh largest country population-wise, and has 1.21 percent of the world's population. Japan is a mountainous island nation on the ring of fire which is the area with the most seismic activity.

overall, Japan has millennia of history. Japan has withstood some of the worst things to happen from massive earthquakes to nuclear bombs.

into the labrinth part 1

once there were four mates there names were methy, ethy, propy (pronounced p-row-pee), and buty (pronounced b-you-tee). one day they went into the labyrinth so they walk into the labyrinth and they start walking and see three other tunnels, left, right and forwards. ethy, the leader of the group says that right is his lucky direction so they should travel along the path so they travel along and 10 minutes later they come across a dead-end and methy says that he senses a contraption and that they should search for it. they all mass at the dead end and a trapdoor opens below them so they start falling and after a few minutes they fell on a soft floor and get up. when they got up they saw two tunnels, one tunnel had webs for some reason and there were little spiders in it. they went through the spider-webbed tunnel and came across a vast underground cavern and then noticed that it was full of spiders...

Climate change

Climate change is caused by humans producing the “bad” gasses like co2(picture up) and

methane( picture left). these trap light energy in the atmosphere and makes earth hotter. after a thousand years(give or take a number of years) earth will be too hot to live on( or someone will invent something to cool earth down) then there will be an ice-age and it will be too cold( because we would have partly evolved to be accustom to the heat) we will probably be wiped out and no more humans. we also will go to the same amount of land(if not more or less) to the amount of land that the dinosaurs have( or had) so we would be all the same again.

this is my Matariki quiz, it took a little while to make but I still took my time. this was easy because I knew a lot about Matariki. I liked it because it did not take to long to make, it has 7 questions that are really easy

dear past self

Do you remember what life was like in lockdown? Of course you do not know because it has not happened yet but it will be alright. Currently, I am fresh out of the lockdown here,  a few weeks into the future and everything is alright but still be careful. this week will be excellent so you just need to get work done(and do it properly). currently, I am writing this letter in golden time so will you please do this letter earlier. will you please note that the game with the food web is called food fight so do not get to weirded out when you look at the title. please play food fight with Pheobe(mine/our sister).
